Some milestones aren’t celebrated with loud proclamations. They unfold slowly, shaped by persistence, care, and an unwavering belief in better.
After twenty-four months of deep examination, steady refinement, and honest conversations, we are proud to share that Bath House is now a Certified B Corporation™ a recognition that confirms our commitment to operating as a business guided by purpose, not just profit.
This has been no small journey. But then again, nothing worthwhile ever is.
What Is a B Corporation?
Certified B Corporations™ are companies that meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. The certification, awarded by the non-profit B Lab, is one of the most rigorous sustainability accreditations in the world, and one of the most meaningful.
At its heart, B Corp is about using business as a force for good, balancing the needs of people, planet, and profit in equal measure.
To achieve it is not to follow a trend, but to step into a deeper responsibility.
The Process
The process of certification was both thorough and humbling. Over the course of two years, we undertook the B Impact Assessment (BIA) a comprehensive 360° evaluation of our company’s practices. Every facet of our business was examined: from how we source materials and engage suppliers, to how we support our employees, contribute to our community, and measure our environmental impact.
Specifically, the assessment covered five core areas –
1. Governance – how we lead and hold ourselves accountable
2. Workers – how we care for and empower our team
3. Community – how we give back and engage meaningfully
4. Environment – how we reduce our footprint and protect nature
5. Customers – how we serve, inform, and respect those who choose us
To qualify, businesses must achieve a minimum score of 80. Bath House scored 84.3.
Throughout the process, we took real steps, formalising our sustainability goals, reviewing how we measure impact, deepening the transparency of our supply chain, and reaffirming our values at every level of decision-making.
It was not a checklist, but a conversation. A revealing one.

Why It Matters
We’ve always chosen to tread gently. To pay fair wages. To source ingredients with care. To make in small batches. Our commitments extend beyond our making rooms, from supporting the environmental campaigns to help protect the natural beauty of our home, to championing mental health through organisations like Mind Over Mountains.
Now, these commitments are recognised and externally verified, not just by our community, but by a global standard.
But the truth is, becoming a B Corp isn’t an end point. It’s a beginning. A renewed pledge to hold ourselves to higher standards, to question more, and to act with greater intention.
Every three years, we will be reassessed, and we intend to keep raising the bar.

A Thank You
This achievement belongs not just to us, but to every person who has walked beside us. To the Bath House team. To those who ask thoughtful questions about our products. To customers who choose with conscience.
If you’ve ever believed that small, thoughtful steps can lead to something lasting, this moment is yours too.
What Comes Next
We continue. Not with complacency, but with quiet momentum.
Becoming a B Corp has given us language for the values we’ve held all along, and a framework for the future we’re working toward. A future where businesses contribute more than they consume. Where growth is measured not only in revenue, but in responsibility.
We invite you to walk with us. To explore our journey. To hold us to account. Because to care, really care, is not a slogan. It is a way of working. And a way of being.
