In the age of ten-step routines, and shelves stacked with skincare that promises transformation, the humble act of cleansing is often overlooked.
But in our view, it’s the most important step of all.
To cleanse is to begin again – a ritual of restoration as much as removal. It clears the skin of the day or the night, and readies it for everything that follows. But more than that, it is the rare moment where water, hands, and skin meet – warm, bare, present.
Our facial cleansing bars are made for this moment.
They are not a nostalgic return to soap, but a forward-thinking reimagination of how we cleanse – solid facial cleansers made with precision, gentleness, and great care.

A shift in texture, a shift in thinking.
For many, the idea of using a bar on the face brings to mind something drying, harsh, or perfumed. Our cleansing bars are none of those things.
Each one is formulated specifically for facial skin – which is thinner, more delicate, and more prone to imbalance than the body.
Our facial cleansing bars are –
– pH-considered, to protect the skin barrier.
– Free from palm oil, synthetic fragrance and plastic packaging.
– Vegan and cruelty-free, certified under the Leaping Bunny programme.
Unlike gel cleansers, which are often composed mostly of water and housed in plastic, our plastic-free facial cleansing bars are concentrated, long-lasting, and made with over 92% natural ingredients.
The result is a bar that does not foam theatrically, but lathers with soft intention – one that leaves the skin clarified, not tight.

Not just sustainable – considered.
Sustainability, for us, is not just a tick box. It’s embedded in every decision.
Our facial cleansing bars are hand-poured in Cumbria, in small batches that allow for control, freshness, and minimal waste. Ingredients are chosen for both skin benefit and environmental logic: oats grown in British fields; charcoal made in Devon using traditional slow-burn techniques; honesty seed oil pressed from crops in Lincolnshire, supporting biodiversity and regenerative farming.
Each bar is packaged in unlaminated, FSC-certified cardboard, printed with vegetable inks – easy to recycle, and free from unnecessary embellishment.
The form is minimal, but the care is layered deep.
Each facial cleansing bar is poured by hand in our Cumbria making rooms, where every stage of the process is approached with quiet precision. The mixture is gently ladled into individual moulds, tapped softly to settle the shape, and carefully blown to release any hidden air bubbles. Once set, the edges are delicately shaved by hand – not for perfection’s sake, but for a clean, satisfying finish that reflects the care taken at every step. Our team live locally and know each batch by feel, by scent, by weight – it’s an intimacy only possible in small-scale, human-led production. What results is not just a cleansing bar, but a product made with time, attention, and a distinctly local touch.

Skincare that slows you down.
We believe a cleansing bar should not just perform – it should invite pause. Held in the hand, slightly warmed by water, releasing the subtle scent of lavender or citrus peel – the bar becomes a small moment of connection between you and your skin.
There is no pump. No tube. Nothing automated.
Only the bar, your hands, your face, and a few quiet minutes.
