As the world comes together to commemorate International Women’s Day 2024 under the theme ‘Inspire Inclusion’, Bath House proudly joins the global celebration by shining a spotlight on the extraordinary women who enrich our organisation with their talents, dedication and leadership.

At Bath House, we recognise the importance of diversity and inclusion, not just as principles to uphold, but as fundamental pillars of our success. As we reflect on our journey, we take immense pride in the fact that 86% of our staff are women, as are 93% of our managers, a testament to our commitment to gender equality and empowerment.

Leading the charge are our esteemed directors, Pauline and Abigail. With creative backgrounds and a shared vision, they have steered Bath House for 27 years, and have empowered the women of Bath House to voice their ideas, foster innovation and inspire others, cultivating an inclusive, team culture of excellence.

In the realm of design, marketing and e-commerce, we are fortunate to have Debbi at the helm. With over 20 years of dedicated service, Debbi’s strategic acumen and passion for our brand have been instrumental in driving growth and expanding our reach.

On the production front, Nicola stands as a beacon of expertise and efficiency. Under her leadership, our production team thrives, churning out Bath House products of unparalleled quality, crafted with precision and care.

Our retail experience is enriched by a team of exceptional shop managers – Linda (Bowness), Denise (York), Sara (Ilkley), Aileen (Ambleside), Allison (Knutsford) and Susan (Kirkby Lonsdale). Managing and co-ordinating the stock deliveries to our shops, Catherine is integral to this vital part of our supply chain. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and brand integrity is the cornerstone of Bath House’s reputation.

Behind the scenes, Joanne and Caitlin lead their teams to ensure seamless operations in wholesale and hospitality as well as website orders and despatch, respectively. Their diligence and attention to detail ensure that Bath House products reach our customers with efficiency and reliability.

In the realm of administration, we owe a debt of gratitude to Petra, Zoe and Jane, our financial, administration and health & safety specialists. Their expertise and dedication ensure that the business runs smoothly, providing the foundation upon which Bath House flourishes.

And of course, we proudly honour all our makers, production and despatch staff as well as beauty experts across our various sites. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail and passion infuse every Bath House creation with soul, embodying and expressing the essence of our brand.

As we reach out and connect with our Bath House customers, through the products we make and the messages we share, we understand the importance of self-care and wellbeing. These small daily rituals of life, so personal and intimate, are given new status and relevance for many women, empowering them with a greater sense of self-worth and positivity.

And so, as we celebrate International Women’s Day, let us honour all the women of Bath House, of our community and all women around the world who inspire inclusion, drive innovation and champion equality. Together, as a society, let us continue to uplift and empower women, forging a future where every voice is heard, and every opportunity is within reach.
