To encourage people to live a more sustainable lifestyle, reconnecting with nature and improving their health and wellbeing through skincare and fragrance.
To ensure that all our products are safe and natural we stick to strict guidelines. We always carefully select the most simple ingredients that nature has to offer and we work with formulas that are kind to skin, people, animals and nature. Our formulations are eco-certified, sustainable and fully traceable form field to product. We never compromise on results and quality, tirelessly working to refine our products where texture, scent and performance are all equal.
We are working hard to produce the most sustainable packaging options currently available and our target for the end of 2020 is to have reduce our use of plastic containers by 75%, and by 2021 reduce this further achieving a 95% reduction of plastic in just 18 months.
We believe that to make a difference everyone has to contribute, even if it’s small steps. Eventually, if everyone does their part we can all make a positive difference to the environment and to climate change.

We consider our supply chain and try to be as transparent as possible throughout all aspects of production, ingredients and staffing encourage customers to make defined choices when purchasing, to love their choices to buy quality and consume less and to encourage refill and recycle.
OUR SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS
- We use a minimum number of ingredients which deliver a maximum effect.
- All ingredients are eco-certified and sustainable and are fully traceable back to source.
- Where we can we have always true to 85 -100% natural ingredients which we clearly display on packaging.
- We have clear, honest display system to show what is recyclable and refillable recyclable and what is not.
- We make our products at our making rooms in Cumbria, England and our six shops are located within 75 miles minimising our carbon footprint.
- Our eau de parfum are all vegan and made with fermented alcohol, a bi-product of the food industry like corn starch.
- Our products are all vegan friendly, cruelty free and never tested on animals.
- We try to source local suppliers where possible or suppliers from the UK and ensure our partners adhere to similar ethical policies as our own.
- From 2021 onwards we will use recyclable aluminium and glass for our bottles, tubes for our entire hand body and face care range.
- We are actively seeking alternatives to eradicate plastic. Where alternatives are currently not possible we encourage, reuse and refill options.
- Our packaging is refined to be as minimal as possible and we only use 100% FSC paper and card.
- Our perfumes are no longer cello wrapped and we do not use block foiling or other processes which make packaging non-recyclable.
- We use recyclable and sustainable packing material in larger shipping boxes.
- We are now making our products multifunctional and unisex to maximise on their usage.
- We are continuing to actively improve our infrastructure with regards to sustainability such as opting for energy saving light bulbs, using recycled office paper, recycling our cardboard outers and waste glass and are currently undertaking an internal audit of this area of the business to seek improvement .

OUR STORY
We are a fragrance and natural skincare brand founded in 1997 by a creative team of artists and designers who live and work in the Lake District. Passionate about art, design and poetry, we seek inspiration in the beauty of nature and from our personal experiences and emotions.
We bring this to life in the form of fragrances and skincare, infused with evocative aromas and pure ingredients. Our recipe is a blend of passion, nature, creativity and artisan production.
